  • Running the service in a busy practice, which is referral for the private practice all over Jordan. This includes clinical and diagnostic procedure assessment, family and patient counseling , deciding on the need and urgency of hospital admission, and managing the financial relations with different insurance companies

CONSULTANT PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGIST & TEACHING STAFF MEMBER                    JULY 1994-PRESENT  

  • Taking calls for pediatric cardiac emergencies in the main three private hospitals in Amman
  • Covering consultations for all of the three hospitals.
  • Performing and analyzing all diagnostic cardiac tests available in the hospitals including transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, table tilt testing, MRI, Cardiac CT, and cardiac catheterization.
  • Doing all types of pediatric and adult congenital cardiac interventions.
  • Taking care of congenital heart disease patients preoperatively & postoperatively, and following those patients up as outpatients.
  • Teaching pediatric residents, interns & medical students in the pediatric departments of the three hospitals ( all hospitals accredited by Arab Medical Council & Jordan Medical Council and affiliated to Jordanian Universities).

TRAINER FOR AMPLATZER TRANSCATHETER CLOSURES                      2000-2008

  • Supervising & mentoring Pediatric Cardiologists in all countries of the Middle East & North Africa

during workshops of varying durations to train them on all transcatheter procedures using the Amplatzer  devices. Approximately 20 workshops were organized annually.
